Welding a JDM T-Bar Dc2
Hey guys, so i'm curious to know if anyone can lead me to the right direction of welding the T-Bar on a Dc2.
sorry for the noob question, as i don't have experience welding.
the main concern on mine is the alignment.
and the second is welding.
so pretty much, where i come from, they are willing to charge around $800 for just welding on the t-bar.
ok so all i need to do, is remove the spot welds with a 8mm spot weld remover drill bit, correct ?
then take out the old t-bar, and weld the new one on ?
what placement should the t-bar end go for the jdm one ? would it be in the same place as the old one ?
what kind of welder do i use, details ?
any other hints ?
do i need to put some thing on the t-bar to weld it on prior ?

drill the old t bar out..
put the jdm hood/fenders on and mount the jdm t bar on there is a hole on each of the fenders that hold the t bar where it needs to be welded.
your gonna have to cut some sheet metel off both sides so the t bar can slide in
