Hey all, first thread so be nice please. Excited to be apart of the Honda-Tech community, seems like everybody here has good knowledge and interests in their cars.

I did some searching and found a barrage of posts somewhat related but wanted to get some new & different input.

I have a 2004 (i-4) LX sedan. I've got a system in it (heavy sub/box in the trunk) and currently have 18" Chrome TSX wheels which also kind of drag down the performance.

I am swapping the wheels for some 17" 09 TSX Alloys that should help the weight factor a bit, but I was curious about some small-value upgrades I could do on my stock accord for some extra power. I've got a pretty small budget so obviously I know I can't complete change the performance of the car, but any suggestions/tips would be fantastic. I am a car noob so any help would be appreciated.

intake/exhaust/headers. also think you can swap the IM from the tsx to your motor since they are the same. swap the TSX 6speed into your car would be pretty sweet as well..

well i have a v6 6spd coupe and i started with an intake. it adds a little power/torque and gives it a deeper sound under hard acceldration.

then over the winter i saved for a full exhaust/jpipe (you dont need a jpipe).
