fuel pump test?
Ive been having problems with my '89 CRX mpfi swapped DX over the past day or two. while driving it will lose all power and just coast. and sometimes it will die while idling, and wont want to start again. I suspected a fuel problem of some kind. I changed the filter as routine maintance in February, but went ahead and did it again, and no help. I searched for a test for the pump, most were a pressure test. I did find a volume test for a '90-'93 Accord which uses the same pump. the test says after the regulator there should be 7.8 ounces of gas after the pressure is released at the filter and the key is in the "on" position for 10 secounds. I did the test and only got about an ounce of gas. Is this a sign that my fuel pump is bad?
Not particularly, seeing as that is a test for an accord and they have different ecu's. Same pump does not mean same program.
Any CEL? It would be wise to diagnose the problem before you start changing out parts.

agreed.. use a hair dryer to heat up your main relay and then perform a test on it to see if it is failing and causing the fuel pump to turn off. It is more common than you probably know.
