G-Force Performance Chip????
I was just browsing around the internet for i came across a this thing called the G-force engine performance chip. It claims to improve HP and MPG by altering the cars fuel:air ratio.
Any thoughts on if this thing is legit? or anyone have any past experience with this or things like it?

Hondata has the capability of reflashing the car's EEPROM with different information which is why people would swap for ECU's that were 'chippable.'
A good example is the P28 which is what I had in my JDM H22A Accord. The H22A has a P13 stock but that is not a reflashable unit. So by swapping you gain the ability to change the maps.
Another good example is the 00-05 S2000. The stock ECU is not reflashable (why FlashPro won't work) and therefore you have to run a piggyback system like an AEM or Greddy.
The 06+ however, similar to the 06+ Civic IS a reflashable ECU and therefore just reflashing it works for a tune.
The "chip" the OP is referring to however is generally just a resistor in a box that you plug into one of your sensors on the intake manifold that just provides false readings and dumps fuel in. It is not remotely similar to a standalone, reflash, or chipping.
Well yeah, very well. I just asumed by chip, the op wanted to actually crack the ecu (I didn't read the link). I understand what your saying as far as the p28 is concerened. I just thought the op wasn't aware of flashpro and the ability to reflash the ecu ( I didn't know either at first ) And again by swapping ecus I was reffering to want you mentioned by going from a p13 to the p28. That's also why those p28's got alot harder to find. Now me, I went from a pr3 to a p72 on a b16a obd0. Just swapping the ecu it was amazing. It wasn't even the same car.
That is absolutely NOT what this "performance chip" is.

flashpro works on the s2000 fyi.
