Those cars aren't that great. They weigh a lot, are underpowered and don't have a very sport suspension setup. BMW engineers themselves said they got the 8-series wrong. That said... the mods on that car are ****.

 

they did have gremlins, mostly electrical. it wasnt meant to be a supercar, though it looks like it wanted to be. a friend of mine had one. the jersey turnpike at 100 mph was amazing. it rode like a dream. the cockpit was way cool for its time too.

 

this thread is misleading. i was expecting to see a bunch of VW's in here carry on.
