Aright I been looking for a springs for a while now and I'm thinking of picking up some H&R sport springs since I like the drop and the price aint bad either. But I've read of people saying they are "too soft" for them and what not. Well are they a good soft for daily driving? since I'm not gona be autox'n or anythang just hard, fast corning around town. Lol. And what shock/strut to problay go with? Thanks in advance.

I think they are rated at 276 lb/in. Which is soft for a 1.5f/1.75r drop. Im going to be replacing mine eventually with some stiffer springs, probably ground control. Im using Koni Yellows.

I've run both the Sports and the race springs from H&R and teh Sport are soft but with some adjustable struts you can get a comfortable handling car with a nice low stance. The race springs were on my Autocross car and I wouldn't run them on the street if you are looking for a comfortable ride.

The Sport springs ride a bit harder than stock and will handle a lot better due to the lower stance. Just changing to some adjustable struts you can dial in the suspension to the way you like it. It will feel like a completely different car once you lower it and add some good struts.

I've run the KYBs in the past and they were nice but I've also ridden in cars with the Koni's. Both can be adjusted for daily driving and then adjusted for the track in a few minutes.

I would'nt just becuase they are oem replacements. If your going to lower your car and replace the shocks you might as well get ones made for a lowerd car.
If $$ is tight take a look at skunk2 sport shocks.

S2 sport shocks and springs would solve your issue of what shock to match with your springs. The S2 sport shock and springs are a matched setup, and yes they seem to handle well. Several of my friends have this setup for cost, effectiveness, and convenience reasons.

New to tuning, starting with suspension. Some people are saying springs, and others are saying coilovers are the best way to go. Im looking for 1.5 clearence and tighter handling for my ep3. Who wins?

Best to start your own thread, buddy. I just read all of this old content and got to your post which was almost totally off topic.
