hey guys. im going to be making the mighty trek back to CA. my car is registered here in VA and they do a state inspection and don't do the smog. I have ab18b1 in my eg8. I was curious what i might i have to prepare for to get my car to pass smog and get it registered. i was thinking i would just rock my VA tags til they expire and save cash to deal with whatever i will have to do to get it to Ca standards. any advice and pointers would be greatly appreciated. i just don't know anything about the process of getting a motor swap legal in CA.

Ill be moving to yucaipa redlands area. what the hell is bar and how do i go about doing that? its been way too long since i have lived out there and when i did i drove cars that were pre 70 so i didnt have to worry about smog. lol
