The B20/B18 frankenstein is about to go into the 2000 Civic but im confused on the Header. Im going to be using a fancy eGay 4-2-1 header but I need to make sure I order the right one.

About a year ago my friend got an eGay header for his 1995 Integra and it fit, but it came about 2" too short from the exhaust. Is there any difference for the Civic's?

 

youll always have fitment issues when dealing with aftermarket exhaust. just gotta roll with it and fix em when u get it on.. this is why its good to know a welder or someone at a shop if anything goes south.

 

Ive actually never had fitment issues with eBay headers, its just that he purchased the wrong one.

i would email the seller and ask them to measure the distance from the cat flange to the edge of the inside runner, and compare it to a stock b16 header

 

Would it matter since this car has a DX exhaust?

 

i think you need to modify either the cat converter or the catback inorder to work.
Or is the integra and the civics similar in the parts for the header and on?

 

i have a HY-Tech Big tube header..i love it paid 160 shipped for it

 

why not get a name-brand header ??

 

i'm sure it would since a DX's cat is up in front of the engine....you will most likely have to do some modification
