It's not likely a fuel injector clip, so it must be for the EVAP purge cut off valve.

Yep, if its a JDM B16A it wont have the purge solenoid, you can simply reuse the one off any D-series and drill and tap the holes for it, or just leave it off, the JDM ECU wont look for it.

^Hm, It looks almost exactly the same as my knock sensor plug and follows the same path under the manifold. 'spose I'll take Ron's word with a grain of salt. I really can't disprove him...

Also note, I'm a D series driver so probably not the best with B's.

Theres about 6 plugs on the engine harness that use that same style of plug, the only way to tell whats what is knowing the wire colors. Also, the plug for a knock sensor while being a 2 wire plug will only have a single wire going to it.

looks like the power steering plug to me, and it goes strait down to the rack input hose from the pump. if your not trowing any codes and the car idles fine its most likely it.

What part of of its the evap purge solenoid didn't you get? Wire colors are red and yellow/black, hence evap purge solenoid. On top of that '92 - '95 civics don't have variable assisted power steering, only the '96 - '00 civics did.

Calm down there, the evap purge solenoid is a way different plug its a black one and the wire colors are black/yellow, white. and they do have the assisted power steering or whatever its called. I proved it in the picture.

Also if the evap wasnt pluged in he would be throwing a code for his evap P0446.........

well how am i wrong? You can see in the picture where it connects to............ also the evap is a square black plug so you dont mix it up, you would get a code or even a cel light from it not being connected, i mean its only for emissions, so please let me know how im wrong that there is only one connection not throwing any codes, every other sensor on the car would have a code but the power steering.

95 EX -- An OBDI ECU does not recognize faults in the EVAP system.

You'd need to see the mate from where the wire harness was taken. There are only two connector matches for the wire color combination, the EVAP valve and the number 2 fuel injector.

Actually, the connector in the OP's picture matches well with the EVAP valve connector used in the stock 95 Civic:

if it goes into the wire loom with the IAT it's definetly the Evap Purge, I have mine zipped tied back to the harness, you shouldn't have any problems with this
