G'damn $24,000! Thats alot to throw down on just one race

 

Thats absolutely insane amount of money on a race, how people can afford to lose that kinda of money is beyond me.

I used to think that stuff was nuts until I saw a $40k race when I lived in SC. Money races are huge in the south, it's a whole different culture.

 

That's serious most grudge runs i've seen it isn't one guy putting down all the money usually a crew/shop a couple guys dumping 1-2k each makes for a big pot fast.

Yup. It sure is. The amount of money on the line in addition to the amount of spectators that come out to a grudge race in the south is crazy.

 

The race with the S10 was a couple weeks ago. The S10 is supposed to be getting a rematch with 88Stang soon.

It definitely adds up quick and I've seen guys lose a lot more money at a casino. Grudge racing is THE ****!

Yes it is a whole different culture. I have lived in the south basically my whole life. My dad has been around the scene before I was born and up till about 1990 or so he helped out with a couple different cars. He has told me stories of grudge runs back in the day.

I love the grudge runs over here in the south. Bikes are not exempt and bring in just as much $$$ as the cars. They may even bring in more $$$. All the dope boys over here in the south got to have their hands in on something fast. j/k.....

I have seen 100k$ race between two bike
I went to a local track one night. Our car broke down, so I had to wait till some one came to pick me up. about 1:00 am some trucks and trailer rolled up pulled out there bikes and gym bag full of cash. I was also scared i may get shot. I ended up talking to the guys from what i understand they had 50 people putting up money.

 

I know that Shawn Gann has been a hired gun for a big grudge run down in GA, but I have no clue what type of $$$ was riding on that one, I assume alot. Shawn told me that last time I was at his shop. Did you know that there is a guy that helps them program their CNC machines out at Gann's place that has a CRX. I was in there and Shawn knew that I was into Hondas and he started talking a little trash, so I had to talk some back. It was a good time.
