the ac on my wife 02 civic not working i check everything and nothing. my friend look at it he says is the compressor a cut off switch in side the compressor. i was thinking maybe the thermal. any reply our help it will be very welcome thanx guys

 

My A/C was working fine one evening recently and the next morning it was dead. I'm not a mechanic so I took it into the shop. It was the thermal on the compressor. The shop's suppliers were out of stock and it took a while to get a replacement. They must be dying all over the place.

thats what my wife did took it to a shop and they told her that she need it a new compressor

 

Mine was also my thermal, had it replaced today and feels great being COLD again. Thermal was only $45 dollars at cost through Honda, compressor will be pricy. But my A/C was going in and out, mine wasn't fully dead.
