Lowering Springs help "Db2"
Hey guys im actually confused and dont know what to do. Im actually on a budget and was thinking just going lowering springs on my stock struts. I kinda dont know where to start and dont know whats really good with a good enough drop, any suggestions? would help a lot thanks...yes i know i should do my research and ive had but dont really know what to do thanks.
Just adding the lowering springs to your stock struts is a bad idea. buy the springs and then start saving for new struts. The stock struts may bottom out and will wear out within a couple of months. I did that with my first lowered car and I ended up doing twice as much work when I was bouncing all over the road lowered with blown struts.
Buy the springs now and put them in the closet till you can get some new adjustable struts.

It's normally said a stock shock can handle a 1inch drop as long as the spring rates are close to stock.
Op, is your car a dd, how much money do you have?
Also he doesnt need adjustable shocks, skunk2 makes a pretty good shock that will work just fine.
