Both fog lights flickered and went out one day, and they dont turn on anymore. They have worked for the 10 or so years that I have had the JDM conversion done, so it is not a wiring issue.

I used the harness from an old set of PIAA fogs, and they worked fine until now. I can hear them clicking when I flick the switch, but will not turn on. I haven't been able to check for any blown fuses yet, but I am thinking it is the relay switch that may busted.

What do you guys think? should I order a new relay (PIAA #PL5FA)? is there a test i can do to see if it is really busted? like.. volt meter or hard wire?

 

hahah i just read what i typed... i guess the most obvious answer is that the bulbs blew out... but i found it suspicious that both would go at the same time? or.. if one goes, it interrupts the circuit.. and both go?

 

sounds like a relay to me but ya, check the bulbs to see if they're blown

 

 

im having the same problem, the relay clicks and everything works but the thing is i have to keep turning the switch on and off until it turns on.. lol..
