i got a ls block with sleeves to 2.1, the head has blox stage 2 cams and made 218whp so NOWS IS TIME TO PORT AND POLISH THE HEAD AND I WANT TO RUN A DIFFERENT MANIFOLD. CURRENTLY I HAVE THE BLOX...........................................WHA T YOU GUYS THINK IF I GET THE EDELBROCK VICTOR X MANIFOLD FOR MY NEW PORTED HEAD.


OR ANY OTHER MANIFOLD.... HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Why are you YELLING? Calm down. The Edlebrock manifold is a nice manifold and flows much better than most. However, if your looking for even more power (Particularly mid-high range) I'd look into a set of ITB's. They out flow ANY manifold period. -Later, BR

 

Think about the Edelbrock Performer X or some Skunk stuff, are you runing a bigger TB ?

 

ITBs may flow better, but unless you have the right size and length and tuning, a manifold is just smarter. And actually, with K series there is a manifold that out-performs ITBs...

 

im using a 72 mm tb, and i dont want to use itbs for two reasons money, and dangerous. which one is better the victor x or performer x

 

depends on where you want to make power. I have performer x in my lsvtec and the power band is around 7k-10k rpm

 

and on what rpms will the victor x gime me power at, im going to port match it to the head ones the head is ported
