99 ex cranks no start
hello im new here but have a prob. my 99 ex wil not start i checked for fuel and spark has plenty of feul a the filter but spark is really light and sometimes not at all. i changed the distributer and coil and igniter. no change still does the same thing.. there is no engine light. any help would be awsome..
Check your grounds. Set a meter to Ohms and check the resistance between the valve cover and the battery negative post. The more resistance, the worse the connection. Make sure all grounds are tight. Did you have any problems prior to not being able to start? Any engine mods?
if you say you changed the distributor, then it should have all come with the coil and ignitor, so did you put a while new distributor on, or did you just change coil, did you check the ignition control module, inside the distributor, and did you change the cap and rotor, and wires as well?
yes it seemed to have a big lack in power and that day had a missfire all theway home before dien in my driveway. it retasted but idle real low an rough before shutting off and not restarting.
