hey HT....i just got done swaping my gsr motor in to my brothers 94 del sol. the problem is that on the gsr motor it has a STR intake manifold on it and the throttle cables dont match up. the ? is that, would i have to use a integra GSR/type r throttle cable and use the cable HOLDER off a gsr TB for it. i seen people do that set up when they swap gsr in civic shells. so any help would be great but pics would be better. thanks HT!

 

iv never used an STR intake manifold but i hear they arent very good for stock engines at all. but to answer your question any integra cable should fit it and for over kill older v6 accord engines will definitely. (if you dont mind the slack)

 

will thanks for the help...i am pretty sure thats i can use any integra throttle cable and the gsr cable holder but i wasn't sure. also j/w if it would clear the hood?? and the motor is not stock. it a fully built gsr that will be boosted...thanks HT
