ARE these rotas? if not, does anybody KNOW what kind ARE they?

 

i don't believe they are rota's, although they appear similar to a few that they offer.

look closer. they're definitely not.

on op's rims the spokes are much more rounded. not to mention they have 8 lug nut holes.

 

yea the center cap is big too.. so their was a big center cap in the middle that they took off..

Look at the inside of the rims and see if there are any engravings anywhere.

Rotas are a knock off of a knock off.. its not like theyre BBS or Works..

It may have been sold under Konig because I swear I remember them in the old discount tire ads under Konig (just like the old Konig Tuners, they are stamped Rota on the back).

Do as he said and take a look, tell us what you find. I bet there's a ROTA stamp somewhere on the backside of the face of the rim.

 

jst did some research and they are ROTAS! they just discontinued them..
they are call the rota n1r's ..


weird i cant find any where that they sell them ..

 

I agree with this guy...

Rotas are just knockoffs.. So I say just because its Rota, doesn't mean its more reliable or has more value than all the other knockoffs.. however Rota is a popular choice but why??

 

Cheap. Make a lot of OEM wheels. Good enough quality for most people.

That's interesting, you rarely come across Rota's old wheel designs. I vaguely remember their website from before the knock-off era. They had some decent designs like the old Journey's, before it became an SUV designated size.

i have the same set of wheels just that mine are the stock color there pretty sick in my point of view..

just take of that black and polish them and you have your self a good set of tires
