1999 Honda Accord Misfiring Problem. Not plugs, distributor, coils or wires...
Hi, can anyone help?
I took my accord which recently started misfiring at about 207,000 miles in to get checked...
I recently had new wires and plugs put in and when looked at was told the coils and distributor were both fine and none of these were the problem. The garage basically told me they thought it was electrical and I should take it to a Honda dealership...
here's the issue, I'm going to be looking to buy a new car at the end of November til New Years, sometime...I don't really want to sink more money into this one...
It has been misfiring when shifting at about the 3kRPM mark, as well as acting rough at some lights when I start driving after being stopped, and also seems to occasionally affect my radio...
does anyone have a clue what the problem is?
will it be safe to continue driving it like this?
any info would be appreciated...thanks!!!
