F22A to carbureted?
are there carbs that fit the F22? i was unaware. tell us more about where you came up with the idea/ what you have found already...
i'm thinking that the distributor would not work as-is because the spark advance is computer controlled (PGM-FI) i'm thinking you would either need a stand-alone ECU that works with a carb setup, or you'll need to find parts from a F22 with factory carbs.
EDIT: it looks like some of the drag racers are using carbs on these with what looks to be an OE style ignition setup. Bisimoto used to run carbs on his all motor F22 with an OE distributor housing (doesn't mean anything but the rotor was in it..). he's switched to distributor-less coil-on-plug ignition now, and i think he is set up with ITBs (fuel injected).

there isnt any carbs that fit an f22. it just someone i kno has a 93 accord that he wants to convert to carbureted, i kno he'll have to make a manifold. and change the fuel system a bit. ive heard of people convert b18b/a's to carbureted but havent found what they do for their ignition.
possibly a laser crank triggered ignition?

There are distributor less ignition systems available for the F22 but they are not cheap. Bisi Ezerioha of Bisimoto Engineering would be the cat to ask about running carbs on an F22. IIRC he used carbs on his 9.97sec @ 135mph (1/4 mile) F22 powered insight. I think I remember reading something about him running an MSD 6a ignition back in 06-07. However, that might have only been becuase of the RPM he was running the engine at.
Now he's running an AEM DIS system with a coil over plug and cam position sensor setup. Along with Kinsler individual throttle bodies and a few other goodies.

You would either have to build an entirely new electronic ignition system, or build/convert the car to an old mechanical ignition system. Why would you want to run carbuerators on an PGM-FI motor anyways? You get a much more even air/fuel mixture between cylinders with multiport fuel injection than with a single carb. I mean maybe there is something I don't know here but it makes more sense to keep the stock multiport injectors.
There is a lot more to it than just changing the ignition system. What is he planning to run for a fuel system? Keep a fuel return style system and run a low flow pump, run the stock pump with a fuel pressure bypass/restriction or run a no fuel return system with a mechanical fuel pump of some sort.
