Default The homemade gasket

i need to make a gasket to fit where the cat bolts to the catback pipe and i dunno what to make it out of where to get it? thnx yalls

Auto parts stores have a paper type gasket that you can cut out yourself of use some muffler cement.

You can get a sheet of exhaust gasket materal that you cut to what you need. Misa is over here doing that all the time

goto midas or any other muff shop. They have the parts.

You can get a sheet of exhaust gasket materal that you cut to what you need. Misa is over here doing that all the time

why the ? i take it a parts store will have the material?

The is because most people are relegated to cutting their own exhaust gaskets maybe once every year or two. Misa does it often. Anyways, any automotive "superstore" should have the material or like Brian said you can go to Midas and have some grease monkey try to find you one and figure out how to ring it up (if he just doesn't give it to you for free).

I had a midas monkey source me my gaskets when i needed em on a sunday.
