Inline pro manifold/ PT60 turbo installed with pics
First of all I want to thank chris (DIRep972) for giving me a hand and staying up so late to help me. You have come a long way in 1yr. kid.
Fast facts:
- A rev-hard down pipe will fit with not cutting, no modifications, and no rewelding. It bolted 100% on and I was happy about that.
- I was able to retain stock AC, fans, and head lights.
- I will need to replace my radiator fan with a slimmer one because I cant fit the air filter on. But I might be able to modify my intake some to make it fit.
- I dont know at what RPM I get full boost at because my boost maps on the EMS are not made yet.
- this turbo/ manifold are bad ***.

Would I be correct in assuming there is much less prone to boost spiking since the wg sits now almost in the center of all the runners whereas revhard sits mainly on 3rd and 4th runner.
I am under the impression boost spike is partially caused by manifold design. Am I correct in assuming this manifold is at least superior to a rev hard manifold in that respect if not others also?

I never did have boost spikes with the rev-hard, but it did have over 100k miles on the manifold is over 3yrs old. It cracked over time and was a great manifold.
Now, I have seen alot of spikes with the drag mainly due to the design of it.

Yea I was told rev hard is much better in that drag tends to spike alot more, and rev hards cast iron manny doesn't spike nearly as much if at all....
I just don't wanna run into spike problems with joe p mbc, rev hard manifold and tial wg... think its an issue?
