Default Mickey Thompson ET Streets 205/50/15.. any input mainly mileage...

Is anyone here running the mickey thompson drag radials? im sure there are, i just bought a set of slicks used for 100 bucks i couldnt pass up the deal for the tread left, so obviously ill use those on the track an ill also prob try these at the track too... now i know for a fact the mickey thompson is the best bet drag radial wise.. my main concern is the low mileage for the tire!!!! i have a second vehicle, but when its done, im going to want to drive my turbo crx all the time, it should make 425-475whp and i was told by roland at mb racing with my setup and car, its either drag radials or nothing lol.. so i definitly want to give the mickey thompsons a try at least once so i can catch traction on the street to blow the doors off some srt-4s (i hate them with a passion) and enjoy my car. i was thinkin about getting a set of dunlop star specs to put on my daily j mags an mickey thompsons (2) on some old slip streams i got.. and switch em on an off here an there to save life. but yea.. people that run or have ran the mickey thompsons what kind of mileage did you get out of them? .. if i put them on the car, obviously im going to obey regular speed limits unless i feel like getting on it or racing... but still that kills the traction cuz there so soft.

but basically what kind of mileage am i look at with the mickey thompson drag radials if i leve them on all the time daily, sometimes highway, no obsessive burnouts for no reasons and occasional race.... im thinking maybe 2000-3000 i wish i could get at least 5000 from them.. i def wont abuse them, if ppl want to see a nice burn out it will be at the track or on street tires.

edit: oh yea one more thing.. if i decide not to go with 4 star specs and do 2 mickey thompsons and 2 tires for the rear, what would be a decent tire for the rear i dont really need a really expensive street tire, but im assuming i still need a speed rated tire.. maybe 2 star specs? or any other options out there you could think of that could help me out

Don't do this on the street! When you have sticky tires on the front and not-sticky tires on the rear, the car is going to oversteer. That means, when you go around corners, the rear end of the car is going to tend to swing out and around on you. NOT a good idea for the street. (Although it's okay at the dragstrip.)

Hopefully someone here can answer your question about treadlife on the Thompsons.
