ok so my eg just blew a piston on the way to work... so im just done with it. i just bought the motor from tiger jdm, on 5-23-10 .. its past their 30 day warranty period so they dont wanna mess with it and neither do i..i think im just gonna chalk up the loss

so we could do this one of 2 ways. ill sell the shell with everything but swap for 500 cash.. it needs panels in the rear on both sides. rollin on steelies, has new inner and outer tie rods, new fuel pump, new gas tank straps and hardware from honda.. clear indiana title..

update.. the number one piston shattered.. i found pieces of it in my oil pan.. so if anyone would like to rebuild the motor i will throw in a full set of h22a pistons, rods and a crank..

honestly i cannot tell. i havent torn it apart, i honestly dont want to. i just need cash to go buy this gsr i found.. im done with h series... i never had this many problems with a motor..

this thing was nasty fast... im just broke now , the last swap broke me.. dont have the time or money for another one... i think im just gonna go with a boosted b series eg and see where that gets me, my old gsr eg is in elkhart , its caged now and boosted and ran 12.0 on stock motor on 6 psi

I'm really curious to know why this thing blew up on you. I've had great luck with all of my H motors (knocks on wood)......(well except for one, but we won't talk about that).

 

**** me 2 , just bought the funkin thing.. and whats wierd is i had this car b4, traded it for a integra, 2 weeks later i got it back and the next day i spun a bearing in the motor (but i had it for 5-6 months b4 hand with no problems), now i get this new motor and 2 weeks go by and it croaks... so im guessing whoever i traded it 2 messed with something (prob ecu)

 

ive got a jdm h22a complete shortblock with low compression je pistons and golden eagle rods...the block has about 119k on it and the pistons and rods have like 2k on em...pm if ur interested and we can work out a deal
