im yankin my engine and rebuidling it, any precautions before i attempt this

If you have a Helm's, follow it's instructions & you're in good hands.
If you don't have a Helm's & have never done this before, either get help from someone who HAS done it, or get a Helm's. This is not something that you want to do without proper guidance.
