del sol muffler ?
so i guess my og muffler can snapped out of its pipe ? id wanna keep it oem is there another oem exhaust i can use that will fit? or does it have to be off another sol?
can't you just get an exhaust shop to weld it back together?
i don't see why you couldn't just throw up another EG muffler. if not any universal oval muffler will work spiffy.

next time use the search feature and you can get the advice yourself.
also the universal oval muffler will sound/look stock. just cuz it isn't OEM won't make it garbage.

why not put an oval shaped magnaflow on it, or buy a flowmaster axleback
i own both and both are very quiet, though i do like the magnaflow much better even though the hangers and all that stuff got to be added to it

Just find a good shop talk to the guy working on your car tell em your desire.
The guy at my shop put a generic muffler with one long straight pipe, no extra cuts just one long bent pipe all the way back from the mani ,best muffler job I've ever had.
I've been through the "fart-can" horrors , stainless steel, you name it , but the exhaust I have now is whisper quiet.
Just depends on your needs , if you're looking for OEM quiet tell the custom shop.
It's nice for a change to have a silent car it's even more quiet than OEM and feels more powerful for some strange reason.
The guy did use 2.5 pipes since I have a CAI and some minor tuning ECU.
BTW I have a 93 del sol as well you might as well trash your old OEM muffler there are better alternatives, I was like you to and held onto it for 17 years, pretty impressive for a muffler but I had to let her go and now my exaust is even more efficient , stronger throttle response and even more quiet than OEM, who would've thought it possible.?
When I got turbo/engine swap I'll consider the "twin-loop" design to open up the engine for the turbo.
But if you have some money get the largest exhaust Borla makes and get a twin loop design , since the OEM del sol honda muffler is MASSIVE , you can get something the same size and have the same results as OEM.
