The Sport Compact classes will be very close to the NSCRA class rules.
We left the name Wild Street but it is still uses the Outlaw Street class rules.

Factory Shootout is a new class we are going to try this year for fun, that we are only going to run once a year at the WCF to see which car is the baddest from the factory. Here are some of the things we are looking at for this class:
Stock cylinder heads
Stock blocks
Stock turbos
Stock superchargers
Stock Intake Manifold
No Nitrous
Full interior only
No skinnies
Full exhaust to bumper (aftermarket exhaust allowed)
Stock Displacement
Basically it will be a class where if it came with a power adder it must be the stock one (like evos, wrx's, GT-R's, Factory Supercharged Mustangs, Supra's, Rx-7s, etc.)
If it came Naturally Aspirated then it must stay N/A (like Corvettes, Mustangs, Camaros, etc.)
Should be a low 11 second class, maybe faster. Either way it will be fun to see which car from the factory is the better car, could be hard to outrun some of the vettes, but some of the GT-Rs can do it more than likely.

The factory shootout is an awesome idea and should be a great addition. Two days this year is nice so we can get there early and have time to work on the car between qual and elims if something happens. We are making the trip from Ohio can't wait to see the turnout again for the event this year.
The Hot Rod rules will be the same as NSCRA Hot Rod.
Also the X275 rules for the domestic are posted here (except they will be 1/4 mile for this event): http://www.mirdrag.com/v2/rules/pdf/2010/10_x275.pdf
No, we won't be running Street Stock at the WCF this year. The car count just hasnt been there, and I need a good mix of imports and domestics in a class and S/S was mainly imports. I am really sorry to have to do this, but hopefully the S/S guys will understand our decision. They are still welcome in the bracket classes, or if they want to try the "Factory Shootout" class

I'll race no matter what, wherever i fit.
You set up a great class there to get into on a very very small budget. It's a shame people couldn't bring cars out for it.
The X275 cars will be mid 8s to low 8s, and maybe even a 7.9 or two, about as fast as the Hot Rod cars are running right now in NSCRA. The FWD Hot Rod cars have been that fast before, but not many out there now running those ETs.
