I have a b20z block. The head has a burnt valve so I replaced it with a 1990 integra da/ls head. Can I reuse the b20 cams, rocker arms, and cam caps/holders for the integra head?

Another question. After installing everything, I tried turning the Cams/gears so that the pointers are facing each other because I am changing the timing belt and tensioner. The cams seems as though they wont move or budge at all. Is this normal?

 

Yes, you should be able to reuse the cams from the newer P75 B20Z head, not sure about all of the caps.holders though....the older head is a PR4

So not the cam caps/holders etc? because I basically transferred everything over to the ls head. This includes, rocker arms, cam holders, camshaft, intake manifold etc..

Seems like the b20 cam holders are different than the ls though because the cams are super hard to turn when I tried to line the pointers up for TDC. I mean those are the only things that are holding down the cams. Unless that is normal for the cams/gears to be hard to turn.

Not quite as random as you'd imagine. If you have under a certain amount of posts (quite a low amount of posts, I might add), you are unable to post for sale ads in the H-T market place.

Anyways for those who replace heads on a b20 block before for a non vtec head, I know now that you can switch cams, how about rocker arms and cam caps? So if I use a ls head, then I must use ls rocker arms and cam caps that came with it? or can I switch it around and use b20 cam caps on an ls head?
