Default 5th gen shell...whats a decent offer

I was trying to get a ball park range of what a 5th gen prelude SH shell would be worth, been looking around for one and found a great shape no rust pearl metallic white one. Its a 5spd, the interior is again in excellent condtion, black cloth carpet/rugs not dirty. The seller kept it pretty clean. It has a moon roof and an est 117xxx on the body. It also comes with a koyo radiator/ from catback greddy exhaust, rims arent scratched up and tire tread is about 45-50% maybe more. This is just what i over looked and seems like a good car to drop a motor in, i just need to know some offers or what i should ask dont wanna shoot low, but dont wanna be outrageous when it comes to offering him a price

As long as you know about all the ATTS junk, which engines to use, and immobilizer. But if you were specifically looking for an SH, then I suppose you know.

I got my non-SH as a shell in good condition for $1600, but that was a steal considering the cost of my car+engine was less than the cheapest running Prelude you'll find. So, I'd guess you'd be paying a little more than that.

lol get a friend to call and offer what you think is low. and if it says yes. then your turn to call and go a bit lower. if he says no then you know what to do.

I bought a base model shell for $1k 2.5 years ago. No motor, tranny, axles, but had full interior and all the body panels. The car is now worth a lot more since I did and RHD conversion to it
