"urban suspension setups"
I have some cheap green springs and tokikos blues and it sucks so bad for SF that I don't even enjoy driving my car around anymore. plus its so low I'm always breaking exhaust stuff. I'll probably go with the softest ground control coilover setup I can find but would be interested to get other peoples thoughts on their setup. you can find gc and koni yellows for <$1k with top hats if you search so its not too expensive considering what you get.
im from nyc also, my advice get full coilovers so u can adjust the height (especially in the winter) and learn to avoid pot holes..... im running tein ss cant complain put it on the soft setting when cruising then stiffin it up at the track best of both worlds
depends. i'm on sports and gc's myself but, the linear springs aren't exactly the most comfortable things on rough roads. well my rates are a big part of why. anyway, a progressive spring will be easier to live with on rough roads, but, if height adjustment is a big deal to you..sports and gc's with your choice of rate are the best deal going at $799
How low are you looking to go and how much money do you have?
I have 10k front and 8k rear linear springs. I live in tacoma where 90% of the roads suck *****. The ride is very harsh and kind of bouncy.
If i did it again i would go with either koni/gc with 400/450f and 350/400 in back or lowering springs on koni yellows.

I just did ksport lowering springs and am very pleased with the result. One of my stock springs deformed, warped, and cracked and I needed to replace them and I found out it was cheaper to replace them with the ksports.
I live in Chicago which (ignoring our expressways which are fairly decent) has pretty much the shittiest roads ever. crooked railroad tracks, more potholes then the moon's surface, and cracked surfaces making driving an absolute nightmare.
However, the lowering springs actually give a much more compliant ride than the stock ones do! Take this with a grain of salt, however, as my front passenger spring was cracked.
