fun lil event, started at 5pm. rained for bout 20mins around 7ish took about 2hrs for them to dry the track up and racing restarted at 10pm until 1:30am, all in all a big turnout compared to previous ones, Majestic's Supra ran a 8.8 for the night, and RLZ's best was 9.6 I believe before they ran into problems and left. had another integra mis-shift indo:p hope that guys motor is alright though. (btw this footage wasn't taken by me) just sharing!

What was the fastest honda/acura of the night? What was the fastest all motor honda/acura if you can remember? That captiva blue del sol has a decent launch in the second video down from top.

 

it was RLZ before they messed up their trans. ran a best of 9.6, the race was between that black EG turbo hatch and Majestic's supra that EG was in the high 10's I think. fastest all motor honda was that sliver EK on slicks, had a k20 in it, unknown mods but it was running consistent 12.3's. that del sol ran a best of 12.2, supercharged k20.

I just watched a video on Facebook from a GoPro cam on the black Integra when he misshifted.

Also, sounds like Howard's car was running way off it's normal #'s......

If there was an Ek with a K swap running low 12's there is a good chance it may have been a mainly stock engine with a good tune. I hope to get mine out there sometime with some slicks on it. See what I can run with a tuned up stock K20 on some slicks. I have seen vids of cars running high 11's.

thanks gen2, cars been 9.7's, trying a new tranny setup but didnt work like wanted it too. mph was there but it just wouldnt come out of the hole. had a blast and to think i was going to leave because of the rain.

 

I can not tell for sure, but chances are it is Tommy Thompson's black Teg. I will try to link you to the vid, not sure I can, but it is on Howard's wall.

it's the orange/black EG hatch in the second video posted from the top @ 4:30 racing the supra, it broke something as u can see.

 

The miss shift was a 1-2-1 shift and it did hurt the motor. Not sure how bad yet but I'm going to get it out this week and down to Howard to be taken care of. The trans is in good shape. I didnt realize how easily faceplated gears go in gear! LOL. Thinking about going with a g-force with the fresh engine.

 

Nice.. didn't realize you got the magic number (9's).. what was the MPH?? Seems like i missed a good race

 

I think this was from the first round? Maybe qualifying.. Lots of doublebulbing going on at this event.. on a pro tree at that.. Big No No in racing..
