Default Painting plastic

Want to paint the timing belt cover but want to find out if the heat from the engine is or isn't going to be a factor on which paint i use. I know most ceramic spray paints won't stick to plastics but will heat be a factor or can i use something like a Rustolium or Krylon?

Default Re: Painting plastic

the only thing i can reccomend would be to get some bulldog and spray that on theplastic before painting it. that helps the bond between the plastic and the paint tremendously
