http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/

i used that place for years before i had the same discount at the local dealer. if i recall correctly it's 25% from list.

for acura parts, i use http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org

these two places are not related. one is in Georgia, the other is in Rhode Island.

I use South Bay Honda.
http://www.hondapartscheap.com/south...1994&catcgry3=
They even refund some shipping and handling back to my PayPal account because actual shipping was less than expected. I have never received shipping refunds from any online purchase because actual shipping was less than was the seller charged.

I just bought some spark plugs, spark plug wires, cap and rotor for South Bay Honda about 2 months ago for 94 Accord, 98 Accord, and 96 Odyssey.

I have used Borg-Warner stuff from O'Reilly for about 300K on my 92. It is good stuff and has a lifetime warranty - they don't give me any garbage, even if it has been 80K miles. I used a cheap rotor from Advance and it broke on me recently.

I have a 94' EX also. I just tuned up mine with some 10mm vision wires I got on Ebay a while back ($43) Now you can get Accel's for $20, bosch platinum plugs ($1.50 ea. w/rebate) 3A Racing clear cap, easy to check for spark ($25) plus gasket from Honda ($5) Advance auto parts rotor w/solid contact not layered one ($11). OEM will probably be more expensive and no better or not as good as these parts. Shop around man. If you need factory parts South bay is the cheapest. http://www.hondapartscheap.com

Bosch platinum plugs are the worst plugs ever made in my opinion and countless others. Go with Denso iridiums. Their good for a couple of HP.

O'Reilly and Advance do not sell factory OEM Honda parts. Thats why I listed what I listed. My list is all factory OEM Honda parts except for Meridian.

HonBeer,What information or experiences do you have that prove Bosch platinums are bad? What info or experiences do you have that prove denso plugs are good? To quote Johnny Unitas "talks cheap"

Im an ASE certified Tech for 11 years and its well known in the auto repair business that Bosch plugs are the cheapest and worst plugs that someone can put into their motor. I'm not going into the particulars about it. As I do not have the time and do not need or want to put the effort forth about this matter. Ask around at reputable shops and the techs will tell you the same. So I know I have plenty of experience.

There is a reason the Accord FAQ exists and there is a reason it has a Websites section at the bottom with several (the first 5 or so) being OEM part vendors.

And I do agree with HonBeer you want to steer clear of Bosch and should use Denso

I just read about bosch plugs failing, mainly losing power over time. I'll probably replace mine in a couple months with NGK G-power platinum. I always thought NGK was japanese junk. As for Denso they are made for high performance engines with turbo's or nitrous they don't last as long as platinums, and are not worth the price to put them on a stock motor.

Denso Iridium plugs are far superior that platinum plugs. Iridium is 6 times harder, 8 times stronger, and has a melting point 1200 degrees higher than platinum. Thus it lasts longer. Read this and educate yourself.http://www.densoiridium.com/faq.php

I already read that. I just want plugs that are better than stock and my engine is not modified. Denso wouldn't be cost effective for me. Thanks though.

You could also get great packaged deals at ebay for gaskets and other items. There's always good deals at your local auto parts stores such as Carquest, Napa, autozone, pepboys, R&S Strauss, Kragen/O'Reilly,Advanced Auto parts
