Default Civic Hatchback (EG) Exhausts - Thermal and Buddy Club

Click here to get more details and pictures

They are for sale because #1 - the Thermal no longer fits my car and the guy who it belongs to no longer has a hatchback and #2 - I recently built a 2.5" exhaust for my car so I no longer need the Buddy Club.

The exhaust is made for a JDM hatchback. Apparently they run a shorter catalytic converter. As a result, the B-pipe is a couple inches longer than USDM market hatchback exhausts. As I stated, you have to shorten your cat (or test pipe) to get this exhaust to bolt up properly.

Or you can shorten the b pipe 3 inches.

The Thermal is not the 3" version.

I'd say it's somewhere in-between a "quiet" exhaust like the Apexi WS and something loud like an N1 or Racing Medallion.

I know this is OT but...

Jeff do you have any idea if all buddy club exhaust made for the hatch will have the same problem as the specII with it being too long for a usdm hatch? They came out with the specIII for the hatch now and i was thinking of getting it.

I'm not sure. My guess would be yes...

That should be a good setup, though a little pricey.

[edit] I thought you were buying a Type-One...

Yea, the Type-one's 2.5" though... that's the only reason I was considering it. If you don't care about that, then the Buddy Club definitely makes quality stuff.

The Thermal is probably spoken for.

I would like to get $400 plus shipping for the Buddy Club.
