Default Goodbye

It is time to say thanks to all of you for all of your help in the past several months. I have sold the Rex to a kid heading for Oaklahoma. He had a gleam in his eye & a vision in his head of what my ol' CRX could become. It was good to me for 5 years & I believe it has gone to a "good home". Keep an eye out for a newbee named Jason & treat him right as I told him of this website & all you have done for me.
Will look in once in a while, but you probably won't hear much more from me.
Thanks again!

Perhaps you'll regret that decision in a couple of years

Good luck and may Godspeed be with you

Thanks - you may be right on the regrets.
But the Eagle Talon I bought has pretty much the same engine but a 2.0 . I'm over working on cars.

Not excuse - reasons
Small town - hard to get parts - had to go 2 hours away for MAP sensor.
Call me chicken but once a car leaves me stranded more than twice - i just don't trust it anymore. Especially since you can't find a professional in this town of 5000 that knows a crap about the ECU or most of the sensors.
It was an 89 & time for me to move on. Getting too old to crouch that low to get into the car.
Enjoyed it & love all the pix of what you guys have done to yours.

well, good luck on your decision, but i am 5'7'' and i feel more cramped in my 92 talon more than in my crx. the si seats are way better than those talon seats by far.

thanks -
I'm 5'9 - it's not a cramped feeling but on the 98 Talon the seats are alittle higher off the floor boards than the CRX

I personally dont like talons or eclipse, but you got to at least turbo that sucker! Good luck to you on your new DSM.

Good luck very understandable about the small town thing. I think I realized it more moving from Dallas to a much much smaller city. Things and services are not as readily available. It seems like more of a pain and there is really no scene, mostly just tf&tf types around here.

More likely than not. Loved it! Only bought the Talon because it's a 98 w/34,000 miles & in mint shape for $8,000. Couldn't pass it by.
Will have to talk later as I'm at work & trying to get out of here on time.

Good luck, but every rex owner i know who has gotten rid of it regrets it hehe, I have had similiar problems with my rex, always breaken down, due to age....much easier to do a swap and cheaper, then u know what ur dealing with instead of a new used car which u know nothing about. But good luck.

5'11 and I think that the rex has a tona room. I could be like 6'5 before it might become uncomfortable. I rode in a DEL SOl the other day and there was a lot less room then in my rex.

Good luck

Blaze
