I had the privilege of driving around with some great people in some great cars.
Not a lot of pictures and it's nothing too crazy. Just documenting a great day.
Started the day off with an early morning car wash.

The meet up spot...

We don't play...

Of course Pete shows up with donuts AFTER I buy one from QT across the street.

Dotyman with instructions.

Me trying to be witty on the walkie talkie.

Just a taste of the route. I'll post up some in car video later.

Emo car picture.

CHAZZZZZZZZ

All in all we spent a very entertaining 2+ hours on some great bits of Missouri road (covering about 110 miles). Great day thanks to some great people.

The NSX wheels looked MUCH better in person and the owner was an older guy and kept his car in really great shape. I'm not too mad about the wheels. It isn't what I'd do but then again I'm not driving it so oh well.

Looks like a good time. For some reason I've been wanting to visit Missouri for a while now. Not kidding either, kind of a random place to wanna see but I do.

My year in LA (well...Glendale) was a sad year for my tastebuds (at least when it comes to BBQ) because I just couldn't find a good place.
Growing up in Kansas City you always here "we make the best bbq" but I always just assumed we did it pretty well but that good bbq exist elsewhere also.
As far as I can tell it's not in the Los Angeles area.
I even found a place in Burbank called Smokin Jack's Kansas City BBQ and it was really pricey and not good at all.
But yeah...it'd be a cheap place to visit that's for sure.
Oh man you read my mind. That's one of the reasons I wanna go. I've had what an L.A. guy would consider "good" bbq, but I'm sure it's garbage compared to what's out there. I think L.A. has a lot of great food from all kinds of places, but I think it's lacking in the bbq department for some reason. I think I'm gonna do it one day. I want some ribs dammit. Time to start saving up and planning a road trip I guess.
I'd say it's worth checking out for the BBQ alone.
