I lost the little spring that goes on the internal coil in my dizzy and I can't find one anywhere, I even went on Honda's parts site and they don't sell the spring, it only comes with a new coil. It just slips on and off the little nub down inside the coil. Someone please help I have searched everywhere and you just can't buy these things. I am stuck without it, because it contacts the cap to throw the spark to the rotor button.

I think I have a spare coil from my D-series that you can use. If I can find it, I can ship it out to you.

 

I don't know where you live, but around here the distributor is gone from a car within minutes of it being unloaded into a junkyard. I swear there must be people that live across the street and they come in the junkyard and take nothing but dizzy's and VSS's when cars get dropped off......and the very few yards here in NC that are not "U pick U pull" charge more for a coil than a reman one is at Autozone.

And as far as Autozone goes that coil is about 60 here, but I suppose I could return it without the spring hehe.... "it wasn't on here when I picked it up, if that's the kind of product you sell I want my money back!"

Thanks for the replies everyone. I guess I was hoping someone would know who the supplier is that Honda buys those springs from, because this is a problem that has plagued me for years. Those friggin springs are always missing but now I am out of spares and I need to get my car back on the road.
