Default My Drag car build thats taking forever to finish

Since its getting close to being done i might as well start a thread.

Bottom End:
B18A1 block stock bore and sleeves
SRP pistons 81mm 10.7.1 comp
.74 head gasket
Eagle Rods
ACL Race bearings
moroso oil pan

Head:
B18A1 head PnP by me
BC dual valve springs and ti retainers
Crower 404 all motor cams
Edelbrock intake manifold
hondata intake manifold gasket
moroso valve cover

Tranny:
GSR with OBX diff (but i have a richmond spool)
Stock alxes lol

Turbo setup:
750hp intercooler
SC61
Spa Topmount
50mm BOV
38mm Wastegate

Chassis:
sk2 coil overs if front but used the sk2 sleeves in back on 18k springs
8 point cage
24.5x8x13" slicks on weld wheels

Fuel setup:
A1000 pump
sumped tank
2 earls filters one 100 microns and the other 10
-8 to pump and -6 everything else
aeromotive fpr
BDL fuel rail
ID 1000cc











heres a little i got done ove this weekend got all the brakes plumbed and working and it all braided line now but in the pic its all hard line. talk about a hard brake w/o a booster lol






ive had this done for awhile just throwing up some pics


heres some pics of the catch can i made i just got it back from the powder coater today and some other small things


















Got everything coated And my catch can setup done. all i have to do now is paint and tune i mite get to drive it down the 1/8th this year :thumbsup:






FINALLY PAINTED NOW ITS PLAY TIME!!!
Layed it down today hope to get all the little stuff done in the next 2 weeks and then make some pulls and tune. This is a single stage paint that we painted in my old *** garage that looks ok for a drag car.

Well i had another shell i was doing (ek hatch in 08) but ran accross this for 200$ and i knew i could make this lighter. so the i have been building the engine since 08 and other little stuff and the shell i have had since early 09 i guess its not that long but dam if fills like it and now i cant stop working on it so i can race this year (tryin to make IFO and KC on 9-5

Thanks man i just wanted to tell u that whoever does your fiberglass dont let them get away cuz we had very little prep work on this front they are ****in great. wheres that big sticker you where suppost to send me for the back window of this thing ??? i lost touch with u on that. i wanted one that would go accross the back window to show my support in the midwest for you guys. thanks again

Got alot of little stuff done but not really anything to take a pic of but i did get the headlight covers mounted and the boost controller mounted and plumbed more to come

Those hurst pistol grip shifters feel amazing, but if you get a dogbox tranny i suggest changing it out! Was a culprit of a 1-2-1 in a friends car.
