Ok Im trying to remove this kenwood cd player out of my 2001 ITR. I pretty much remove every panels and I got down to the part where I could look underneath it and see all the wires. From the stock cd I know that there is 2 8mm bolt that is holding it. I cant seem to find any bolt that is holding this one and when I try to pull it out slowly it seem that the upper part is coming out but some other thing is holding the bottom.. Im getting very annoyed.. I cant seem to find what is holding it.. Can it be other bolts somewhere or just clip.. Someone help please..I will take picture if that helps..

 

On a aftermarket deck those 2 bolts arent used, at least ive never seen any that do.
The use a cage that the deck clips into.

I dont suppose you have the deck keys do you?

 

i've used butter knives as deck keys before... just sayin

 

Allset. It was clips that didnt fit right with the dash make it alot harder to take out. Aftermarket products suck lol.
