Ive been trying to get the passenger side axle in the transmission for hours and it will not go in. It goes like half way in and stops. I put a new c-clip on and everything. Is there a trick or something??

I can usually get a partially inserted axle to fully insert by swinging the hub slightly outward and then swinging it back inward toward the transmission. The axle nut is loosely installed during this procedure. The inward momentum/force of the moving hub is usually sufficient to fully seat the axle without damaging it.
