I've got a problem ........... I can't rev over 4,000 rpms at more than 1/4 throttle without it making a noise like compressed air being released in sequential bursts (pfft pfft pfft pfft pfft, etc.). And my gas mileage has dropped significantly. I also start having major rev problems at anything below a 1/4 tank.
All this tells me either one or more of my injectors is clogged and past 80% duty cycle and stuck open, and/or my stock POS '90 STD fuel pump is shot trying to keep up with the Head/MPFI swap.
If any of you have had any experience with this, it would be appreciated. And if it is what I think it is, does anyone have an '88-'91 Si fuel pump in good shape, and anyone have some '88-'91 Si injectors????? I don't have a whole lot to pay for them. I really need them bad if this is the problem ...........
Post or e-mail, thanks!

Well, I can get a complete set of new injector's from Majestic Honda online for $82, so I'd be willing to pay about $25 for a used set (I bought my whole '88 Si intake manifold, T.B., fuelrail, and ECU for $125 ........ so that seems reasonable to me).
What year, and what condition are they?
Thanks for the reply!

Actually, that price of $82 is per injector, "set" just means it includes the gaskets. They are from a 90, and they are in good shape. How about $40 shipped?

That was what I thought ....... but usually they say "(4)" under needed, so I wasn't sure.
Someone just pm'ed me about having both the pump and the injectors, so I'll get back to you as soon as I know. Thanks!

I've got the fuel pump coming now (thanks to civbeater90), and probably have a lead on the injectors (CVC9216).
Thanks for replies!
