Default How to diagnose fuel pump or clogged filter?

Its a 93 accord and wont start. Its getting spark and starts when you spray starter fluid in the intake. Fuel pump makes noise when turned on just might be old and weak? So is there anyway to test these seperate to see what might be letting enough fuel in to start the car?

Work back from the fuel rail. Get a fuel press gauge and check. A new fuel filter should always go on whenever you HAVE to replace the pump (do the testing before replaceing the pump). Clogged filters make the pump work harder. And don't for get the FPR.
