Default F22b1 vtec blowout.

i was on my to work in my 97 accord ex vtec, i was driving and i heard some kind of metal break, PAHH!!. my car came to a stop and then i released the clutch to go and it would so iit eventually gave out right there. when i turn it on it sputters and turns off. there was no smoke at this moment. She had a new fuel pump, filter, spark plugs, wires. now when i bought the car she needed a valve adjustment. injectors also were in good condition, and i checked the compression on all pistons and they were good except for two of them were getting lower and lower. what could it be, blown head, piston?

Could be anything, head gasket, valve seat... run a leakdown, maybe a burnt valve you never kno...

(edit) which two cylinders are losing compression?

I really hope you plugged the hole for the sensor if not i'd check the exhaust valves, cold ambiant air after shutdown is not good for hot valves.
