the speakers work whenever they feel like it. Has this ever happened to anybody?

 

If you using aftermarket speakers check if one of the two wires are grounding out to you door that's what was going on with me

 

nah man, cars stock. I havnt touched a thing. I'm thinking, maybe its the wire harness. The back four are the ones that keep going in and out.// If they were blown, would they still work sometimes?

its sounds like either a bad connection in back or maybe you have a faulty head unit. what i would try is when your back speakers arent working, whack the front of the headunit in a safe area and see if they work. if they do, i would guess that you have a bad connection. pull the headunit out and make sure all wires are plugged in nice and tight. ***NOTE: im not responsible for you breaking your radio...do this at your own risk LOL.***

if they dont turn on then maybe you have a bad headunit and take your car in for diagnosing and replacement.

 

Check for voltage at the wires when you rear speakers aren't working.
