I have a 96 Accord and it needs a radio code. I pulled the radio out and got the serial number. I called Honda and got the 5 digit code. I was told by Honda that all I needed to do was enter the code but when I did this it didn't work and the radio still displayed the word, "code". Is there any special instructions to enter the code or did Honda just give me the wrong code? Thanks

 

There is either a sticker with the code on the side of your ash tray, glove box or back of stereo. If not any of those places call up honda and they will tell you how to do it in one min..

 

I had to enter the code twice on the '95. I think one of the number pads may have been a bit sticky.

 

You can also go to your local dealership with the radio serial number. I would suggest going there and seeing if they have a different numbers.
