Well to be quite honest, it wasnt much of a shoot out. Not too many impressive #'s were made. A silver RX-7 which was supposed to be "the car" put up a whopping 242 to the wheels *thumbs down* and that was the high number of the day until a silver Eclipse put down 250 @ 20 pounds of boost. WOW. *sense sarcasm* A guy I know, Brett, w/ a '00 Si put down 285 on 13 pounds of boost, and that seemed to be the crowd pleaser. I however was very impressed w/ my numbers, and I made 349 to the wheels in my '00 si at 15 pounds of boost. I was expecting about 315 maybe 320 but damn near 350 i was thrilled with. I was even more suprised to win the 100 bucks that they were paying out. I for sure thought that there would be some guys w/ huge numbers there. I have the dyno chart, but I dont have a scanner, so I dont think I will be able to post it

 

Don't be so disappointed. At least you pulled more than respectable numbers. What size turbo are you running with? I hope to get numbers like that.

Actually man....One of your friends was there. I forget what his name was. Really cool guy. He had a red hatch w/ an LS/VTEC swap, fully built. All the works. He won the N/A Category...he made 209 to the wheels. I was fuggin stoked to see that. He embarrassed the N/A 6 cyl winner. By about 30 whp. HAHA.

 

Hell he'd embarras me just by putting out similar numbers to my turbo motor. What did that LSVTEC do for tq (if you remember)?

hey i was there also.....i kept hearing about how they were going to dyno some porsche that was laying down over 700+HP...Cant believe my dad's friend with the black blown cobra didn't hit the dyno, he would have had your 100 bucks...

Yes sir that is me. LOL Did i meet you yesterday? Im sorry If i dont remember man, but after i ran i got clobbered w/ questions and stuff. I tuned it, w/ the help of my friend. We did it at Tempest Racing in waldorf maryland. Those guys are bad ***. Jason is the one there who helped me and did my down pipe and dumptube..

No I didnt see you at Authothority, you know who I am. I worked at Nu Image when you bought the kit. I was a mechanic, Im at school now. I dont have a Hondata but I really want to get one. How much would they tune mine for if I got one and what should I get? I have a 93 hatch with a B18C with the Nu Image kit.

 

Those are some sweet numbers, 350 out of an SI at 15 is nice. I hope I can get that at around 12 in my car.

Oh man they look out. I think its like 135 an hour for them to tune it! Thats pretty reasonable. I took 2 hours on the Dyno....me and manny tuning it...Its pretty fierce man. They had to strap it on tighter cuz it was breaking loose on the dyno yesterday lol

 

Brett's car only made that power. I thought it was suppose to make crucial power. I got to talk to brett to see whats up. Stock ls dynoed 272hp and 238tq. I got the dyno sheet to prove it. Inline pro tuned the car though.

I know Brett fairly well. He needs bigger injectors. I would not sleep on Bretts car at all. Just because he didnt put down the #'s that I did, doesnt mean that his **** isnt fast. I give him the utmost props. His car is nice, and exceptionally clean. You have to have respect for that. He put down 285 to the wheels on 12 psi. He has no standalone, so he doesnt have the tunability that I do. Nearing 300 whp in a honda either way is impressive. So yeah. Either way, he and I sit down and talk about setups for a longgggg time each time we see each other. Plus I think he said he was quitting nu image ..
