OK so the old meet has clearly been dropped but me and a few friends while down at IA figured we would take it upon ourselves to see about having a late summer meet somewhere around Pittsbugh. Ideas are very welcome we want to make it what you guys want.

What i have in mond is 1 spot, no driving no parading just show up......

so the rest is all up for discussion...

I am thinking somewhere a bit south of downtown, to try and get some of the Morgantown and WV cars to come since i am from WV.....

so let this begin. hopefully we can get something going to early September.

Spread the word that this is back in the works. Dont want it to be a let down.

 

like 3-4 years ago i put together a decent sized meet at robinson mall.. dont know if thats of any interest to you.. if im in town ill help out any way i can

 

im jsut trying to see how many people are even interested..........

if the people dont post **** up im not gonna waste my time either

I'd definetely be down for a meet....quaker steak is always fun so was the robinson meet I was there.....kinda sux about the megameet but no one showed interest and it takes a lot of work to plan an outing like RC000E did...so a good bit of its our fault (the H-T community)....ill be glad to help out anyway I can...contact me through PM....station square was decent too......we (the H-one club) had some mini meets in uniontown that turned out decent....I'm sure we could secure a spot somewhere..let me know if any help is needed I can come up with some ideas

rougeeg6, i think that if at least 75 different people don't post i wouldn't waste my time dude. cause at least if 75 or more people post you know the outcome will be greater as those people will bring others along

just my opinion though if no one shows interest than it's not worth it

 

my thought exactly, any of you guys going to wexford friday we could discuss something while up there. me and a few friends are going, but i wont have a car there or anything.

Im up for a meet and i can bring bout 5-6 cars with me. I think as long u have a place and time set, ppl will come no matter how many ppl post here. The word always goes around.

if we did do this my first meet ever attending if it does happen do i have to bring my car cuz its gonna be down for a while cuz im takin it apart to rebuild everything but would like to see sum cars and meet people

 

you dont have to bring anything just come if it goes down..... i wont have a car either its in peices im jsut sick of nothing local at all. Have to travel out of state to do any event.

 

you guys are supposed to wait til winter to do teardowns that way you can cruise during the summer months lol

im also tired of nothing local, though in my area, most of the local cars are junk, i did come across a somewhat baller 98 Ek hatch last week cruising uniontown...it was championship white, boosted b20 vtec, painted and semitucked engine bay, and full recaro interior and si cluster..the only thing the car needed was baller rims which i also need lol and a ctr wing which he has in paint

 

i did to the teardown in the winter and now its moved into summer and next winter haha

 

I remember pictures of your car from last years megameet thread, you have a nice build going on, better to take time than rush it

Well i live in NY but i may be able to cruise down to there for a day. What is the zip code so i can get a rough estimate of time and miles?

im down for a meet around the pittsburgh area. just keep me posted on the time and place. i think station square would be a good meet. and it wouldnt take too much work, just set up times and make arangements like plan a scedule then notify people. for example

12-2 meet
2-4 eat
4-5 cruise
6-? ??

then all you have to do is call the planned resturaunt and let them know that theres a group of people comming (get rough estimate) and let them know what time you will be arriving.

 

Me and about adozen other cars interested from altoona, pa man. Last year was awesome

 

September 18th (last weekend of the summer), Robinson township. Possibly QSL there? If not, then back at the mall where we did it 3 years ago.
