Why 1992-1998? That's an odd year range. 5th gen Civics run 1992-1995 and 6th gen Civics run 1996-2000. Most people prefer the '99-'00 front ends too.

You might also want to look for any local Honda or otherwise automotive forums. Some might have classified sections you could find helpful.

Expect to find a car in poor condition and/or a title that's not clean.

If it's a $1000 car, it's a $1000 car. I mean, there's not a lot keeping a 1999 significantly more expensive than a 1998.

I figured there would have to be a better reason.

 

no i have only $1000 right now and im only 16 so cant really dont anything beside lil job and ****
but i found a vw 97 jetta gt mint body and i custom seat no radio and a/c but 150k miles all stock ( but wanna stay wiff honda (: )

and i found a 95 civic coupe 173k miles all stock just need paint just it front is balck and rear is red

so im debating i have like 8hours like i like jetta but it german

and i wanna move to japan to get a RHD

so can you give me some good reason on which is better
i know honda has cheap parts b.c its a common car

Why no newer than 1998 though I mean? '99-'00 Civics have power steering too.

And don't move to Japan just to have a car just like all the other people in that country.

Being 16, I would save my pennies instead. There isn't really any NEED for a car at that age, though it is nice. Just a little more cash could get a much better car that doesn't need paint and doesn't run the risk of major electrical gremlins.

 

hahaha i just bought a 95 coupe 2dr automatic 173xxxmiles and only need a paint job and i paid 900 now i wanaa trade it for a hatchback

 

If a kid managed to trade a cell phone for another cell phone, etc. and so forth until he traded up to a Porsche, then you could probably manage to trade your two tone Civic coupe for a slightly better hatch.

haha im not even trying to get a better deal im fine wiff adding cash or a fair deal i jut perfer hatchbacks but this civic was worth it for the price lol
