I have a 2000 CR-V EX. When i lock/unlock the doors with the remote, the lights do not flash on the vehicle. It does honk however, if you hit lock twice.

I searched until i was blue (EBP) in the face, and i found nothing on how to program this function.

When I programmed the remote on my 2000 Civic SI, I think it had the ability to choose to use or not use this function by pressing certain buttons on the remote.

Does my CR-V have this option?? Thanks.

 

I guess my question is, can my CR-V lights flash when I lock and unlock?

i had the same issue with my 01 CRV... my headlights doesn't flash when i lock/unlock it unlike my 01 vic. i guess it's just not doing that.

 

I don't believe that it does sorry to say with the standard keyless entry that came stock on the 99-01's
