Can't Spell Honda w/out DA (Build)
How i ended up owning a DA?? Well my mom was an original owner of a 91 Automatic Integra RS...after graduating high school the car was mine. It was just a car/daily/commuter what ever. Making the best of what i had. i did this:

^^skunk2 coils/tokicos, JDM headlights and a Carbon fiber hood. But it was still an automatic.
Luckily i found this guy on Craigslist. He wanted to trade his M/T for an automatic, because he was giving this car to his girlfriend who couldn't drive stick. And it turns out that he has the same color red and same model as i had lol.

I know what your thinking. Thats exactly what i was thinking when i saw these photos.
My deal was to trade all my parts including the Interior pieces over.
As the months went by. my mechanic skills grew and my DA was looking better then ever.
One night it all gets taken away from me.
Rims,One Piece headlights. CF hood..almost everything was stolen..
I was back on the hunt for the missing parts. Found me a stock hood at the junk yard. black housing jdm headlights on Craigslist and my girlfriend bought me a set of Blades for my birthday.

DB2 Interior upgrade.

Engine up grade.
This was the best engine i could afford. Built as a strong reliable daily driven engine.
The B18c1. w/all OEM parts. with the help of Jomark from "JMSP Built"
obd0-obd1 conversion harness from "Rywire" w/P61 ECU
Micro polished crank, .25 os SI pistons, 00 spec ITR cams and etc..

Thanks for all the support! This was like a year and a half build..That GSR was planned to last the whole life of the car. but things change. My girlfriend's motor was giving her alot of problems. So we (just her and myself) decided to pull out both engines and drop in mines with her transmission.

...She needed a reliable engine more then i did. if shes happy im happy.
But what about the DA right?? This is where the build gets interesting =D.
04 K20a2 w/the 6 speed transmission.

Thanks dudes. Main reason i planned on doing this swap was because there's less then a hand full of people in this world who has done a K swap in the DA. A gold RHD on the East Coast, a guy in Canada and another dude in Ohio. Plus sometimes the DA is considered the black sheep. We started the double wish bone suspension. LS engines and the B17. even tho the NSX brought vtec in 1991 it didnt make a difference until the B17 introduced.
nice build! didn't legit ef's (like ef8's n ef9's) have b16's in like 89 or 90 or somethin? just sayin. i love a clean da though. yours is hella nice too man. good luck w the k swap!
The first VTEC engine Note: All Honda Motor B16A engines are stamped 'B16A' (with no number after the "A" to identify version).
* VTEC
* Found in:
* 1988-1991 JDM Honda Integra RSi/XSi (DA6/DA8)
* 1989-1990 JDM Honda CRX SiR (EF8)
* 1989-1990 JDM Honda Civic SiR (EF9)
Thats what i thought as well so i had to google it.
yea, k swap DA mounts. i agree but its not like B series anymore where u just buy the mount with the rubbers. its including the "bracket" aswell.
But i figure if i just get the engine in.
I can start start prepping the bay cosmeticly.
Get started on the fuel system.
Mock up the shifter/exhaust.

ive had a set of Hasport mounts on my B set up and love them
If you had a choice between the two..which one would u choose?
hybrid racing sponsors innovative, im pretty sure one bad review of most likely an old product is what you read. Its up to you if you feel like paying an extra 300 thats on u. Id obviously go with innovative, great costumer service backed by the biggest kseries parts provider and 300 dollars cheaper then hasport the signs are there. When i decide to go k its going in with those mounts.
most likely was an old review. I had Tecate (mexican beer) this one night playing beer pong...it was warm and my sorry teammate sucked and we ended up drinking a **** load of Tecate. and ive hated it ever since. i know it was warm and ****. but i never gave it another chance.
