Default Changing tire size and compound, need advice.

So my friend has a set of wheels that are 15x7.5 + 30 he wants to sell.
I'm pretty damn low so I would be going with a 195/50/15. Right now I have
15x6.5 +38 with 205/50/15 BFG G-Force sports and I need to maintain traction if I get my friends wheels, as I have appr. 325whp.

My question is can I get the same traction as my 205/50s if I go to a Potenza RE-11 or Direzza sport star spec or a similar soft compound tire in the 195/50?

Thanks.

195/50-15 tires cannot be mounted and used safely on 15x7.5 rims. The rims are too wide. Almost all 195/50-15 tires should only be used on rims that are 5.5-7.0 inches wide.

Don't buy those rims. Get different rims, ones that are 15x7 or narrower.
